Alternative Distribution Alliance (''ADA'') is a worldwide service organization committed to independent artist and label development. As part of Warner Music Group, ADA gives the indie record labels and artists access to an unparalleled global distribution system and a dedicated team that provides a complete spectrum of marketing, merchandising, promotion, and music licensing services.
This position is accountable for managing the digital sales and marketing for ADA labels. The primary goal is to leverage ADA label content in order to drive digital business across all DSPs.
There are 3 main areas of responsibility:
Work with ADA labels to meet their needs in digital sales
Determine focus releases and identify unique opportunities with artist/content
Advise on best ways to use internal resources as marketing drivers e.g. email lists, artist website, social media channels, etc.
WEA/Warner Global Commercial Teams:
Provide weekly ADA release schedule for ADA labels including detailed information on marketing efforts around each release
Maximize global account opportunities by recognizing ways to take advantage ADA labels' catalog
Liaison for ADA with commercial teams on account opportunities, requests, and needs from ADA labels
Work closely with Research & Analytics teams to gain insight, identify opportunities, and understand consumer behavior
Digital account base (download, HD content, streaming, video):
Ensure that accounts are aware of ADA label releases through regular communication and music presentations to key editorial/label relations/marketing
Develop strong relationships with the account base
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of DSPs and their product offerings
Work on strategic opportunities around key label releases
Participate in account specific initiatives e.g. themed sales, marketing opportunities, etc.
Experience and Qualifications:
5+ years of account management with digital accounts
Strong business acumen and results-oriented
Polished presentation skills
Excellent time-management, organization, and communication skills.
Proven record of sales and revenue growth.
Ability to take broad campaign concepts and translate into partner specific initiatives that result in sales/streams and impressions.
College degree preferred
