Drive WMG's business, strategy and partnerships through analysis
Provide sales information, research, and analysis reports to assist WMG executive team in decision making and long term strategy. Work in partnership with worldwide affiliates to provide accurate reporting and analyses of
marketplace and WMG performance.
Oversee preparation, distribution and presentation of marketplace forecasts
Research, identify and report on market drivers and trends in marketplace
Oversee analyses of major ad hoc requests per senior WMG leadership.
Entails both individually conducting analyses in full as well project managing larger efforts leveraging the rest of the R&A team
Oversee reporting/tracking of new & ongoing company priorities
Liaise with outside research and marketing vendors including Nielsen, the RIAA and the IFPI
Prepare presentations for external business reviews with major partners
Assist current worldwide Research & Analysis digital team with ad hoc analyses
Participate in the development of long-term relationship between WMG Research & Analysis department and various label partners
College Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting preferred
Results oriented with strong analytical skills and problem solving ability
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively (orally and in writing)
Strong organizational skills with ability to work on multiple projects
Extensive familiarity and expertise in PowerPoint
Additional computer skills (Excel, Access, Word)
3 to 5 years of experience in an entertainment or media setting
