Department Description: Seek and secure airplay, promotional, & marketing opportunities at determined radio & related radio media formats. Explore and exploit all avenues in the market region via radio and its related media to greater expose & build the audience our label's artists to contribute to the company-wide effort of promoting and maximizing sales.
High Level Job Description: Responsible for providing stellar administrative, project, and research support to Top 40/Rhythmic/Hot AC format heads within promotion department. This should be done in addition to working independently and following through on all assignments.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
• Assist 2 Senior Vice Presidents and Vice President with all administrative tasks including, but not limited to, expenses, business travel, and heavy phones
• Plan and coordinate various promotions and contests such as flyaways, meet and greets. Arrange travel for contest winners.
• Prepare weekly Mediabase research and analysis reports of radio airplay for Pop, Crossover & Adult formats.
• Create, update and distribute daily Mediabase/BDS reports, radio tracking sheets, add sheets, Soundscan and insight reports (sales).
• Correspond with field staff to better understand any concerns and issues that need to be resolved
• Assist field staff with various promotional contests. Including but not limited to, flyaways, sending posters, connecting phone interviews, ordering promotional items.
• Create and update weekly add boards at Pop, Crossover & Adult formats.
• Maintain several databases consisting of industry reporters, DJs, radio stations, and other contacts
• Create and send out e-blasts to radio panel for all new singles
• Send digital download codes to radio stations for promotional use. On behalf of National and Regional staff.
• Order, create, and maintain stock of artist posters.
• Coordinate extensive promotional and radio mailings
• Coordinate phone interviews with radio for Pop, Crossover & Adult artists when in New York City and on promotional tours
• continuously restock CD drawers with current releases and essential back catalogue
• Create quarterly sampler of priority releases for use in field and at radio
• Organization of artist calendars and scheduling for all promotional tours.
• Act as a primary liaison between radio stations, management, artists, independent promoters, field staff and promotion department (East and West Coast).
• Complete special projects as needed.

Special Requirements/Preferences:
• Prior experience at record label through internship or full time work
• Prior experience in fast-paced, high energy environment
• Excellent computer skills, primarily Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with Mediabase 24/7
• Internet savvy
Education Required: 4 year college degree at an accredited college/university, or relative job experience
