Entry Level - Administrative Support
Currently recruiting for a variety of ground floor opportunities within the Warner Music Group family. Positions are entry level administrative support roles that provide the professional experience necessary to develop a career in the music industry.
Job Description:
With its broad roster of new stars and legendary artists, Warner Music Group is home to a collection of the best-known record labels in the music industry including Asylum, Atlantic, Cordless, East West, Elektra, Nonesuch, Reprise, Rhino, Roadrunner, Rykodisc, Sire, Warner Bros. and Word, as well as Warner/Chappell Music, one of the world's leading music publishers, with a catalog of more than one million copyrights worldwide.
Required Competencies/Skills:
• Comprehensive experience with PC and Mac platforms, especially with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (graphing)
• Excellent writing skills
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in high pressure environment.
• Effective online research methods.
• They must possess a tireless sense of urgency and at the same time have a pleasant and courteous phone manner - representing management in an informed and professional way.
• Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented, has the ability to prioritize tasks, meet strict deadlines and a proactive style that anticipates problems before they arise
• Very strong follow-through and problem solving skills are essential
• Must be a creative self-starter who has outstanding people skills and works well in a very hectic atmosphere.
• Wide scope of multi-genre music familiarity
• Positive and outgoing attitude
• Detail-oriented
• Punctual, reliable and flexible
• Thick-skinned and tenacious
• Take direction well and thinks fast on feet
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team
