Senior HRIS Analyst (Workday - Fixed Term 1 Year)
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Sr. HRIS Analyst for the HR Services HRIS department. The Sr. HRIS Analyst position is responsible for implementing and supporting enhancements and small to mid-size HRIS projects under the direction of the Director, HRIS. Work very closely with the other HRIS team members and other teams within HR Services and Technology to deliver solutions. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities, manage all HCM related enhancement requests, identify and troubleshoot any HCM issues or errors that may occur, and work with the various teams to resolve. Compile, analyze, and document issues in order to identify systemic issues and propose solutions. Manage the development of fixes and integration enhancements by partnering with the HR Services Operational Excellence (OpEx) and Technology teams including but not limited to the creation of functional design documentation, project management, user acceptance/parallel testing, and rollout communication. Participate in projects led by the OpEx teams, perform system testing and related data integrity support.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Works closely with the Director, HRIS on HCM service delivery enhancements and improvements.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
• Confirms required internal controls are followed and raises any exceptions or discrepancies as related to application and business controls to management.
• Manage small to mid-size HCM projects, changes, enhancements, and process improvements.
• Actively seeks out process improvements to speed up service delivery and ensure effective execution of complex processes and solutions.
• Maintains partnership with HR Service OpEx and Technology to address business needs.
• Manage internal HRIS projects (e.g. acquisitions, etc.).
• Create documentation for operational process improvements and updated procedures.
• Create functional design specification and validate/sign off on technical design specifications for HCM related technological enhancements.
• Create and execute test plan for major enhancements and perform unit testing on any changes or enhancements.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and assist with the resolution to any HCM issues or errors.
• Compile, analyze, and document issues in order to identify systemic issues or problems.
• Propose technical and/or business process changes to fix systemic issues or problems.
• Coordinate with Workday support to gain resolution to identified issues.
• Partner with Technology to troubleshoot issues with integrations to/from and between Workday and other systems.
• Work with Technology to coordinate any special integration runs and test runs.
• Perform testing after changes are made to any configuration or integrations.
• Perform testing and roll out of Workday releases semi-annually.
• Maintain ongoing knowledge of Workday releases and changes.
• Keep up to date on developments in the Workday community.
• Maintain the HCM project plan for the Workday release activities.
• Develop and maintain test cases for semi-annual Workday releases.
• Coordinate testing with WFA, Payroll, Integrations and other groups.
• Perform parallel testing and end-to-end testing.
• Provide training to end users on new releases.
• Provide support to all HRIS supported systems.
• Provide end user support to various systems.
• Resolve Tier 2 issues for various systems.
• Audit security for each system and resolve any issues.
• Systems include Concur, Salary Justification Portal, employeeConnection, HR Data Central.
• Work on special projects, as requested.
JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field or the equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Strong Excel and data mining skills required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Workday HR/payroll preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of operational process experience required, in payroll, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of technical and systems experience, in payroll, finance, or related field.
• Experience with systems, integrations, and a complex technical landscape required; experience working with IT organizations required.
• Experience with requirements and processes related to payroll processing required, including knowledge of unique groups like union and executive populations.
• Experience with audit and control procedures a plus.
• Experience with shared services and customer service operations a plus.
• Payroll certification a plus.
• Must be able to work under pressure in a high stress environment and make decisions quickly and with confidence while understanding of the impacts to the workers and business.
• Must be process-oriented and able to define a simple, standardized way to perform activities.
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
