SUMMARY OF POSITION
WB Games is looking for a passionate and experienced Recruiter with strong sourcing and account management skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience recruiting across a variety of disciplines with a strong concentration in video games. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing candidates and managing job openings across multiple disciplines including production, art, engineering and design. The Recruiter will recruit for both Kirkland-based Monolith Productions and Chicago-based NetherRealm Studios. The position is based in Kirkland, WA.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Position is responsible for full scope recruitment for a high volume of positions, which includes identifying and presenting top qualified candidates to hiring managers.
• Promote and maintain positive candidate relations while maintaining professional and courteous candidate communication.
• Effective recruitment efforts will be conducted through direct sourcing, industry networking, internet, resume database, employee referrals and appropriate trade and industry organizations.
• Develops, determines and executes recruitment strategies and processes for searches through successful completion.
• Builds and develops external relationships with talent at all levels within industry, introducing top tier and diverse talent into the company prior to there being an active vacancy.
• Complies with and implements established search execution processes including interviewing candidates face-to-face, conducting effective kick-off meetings, creating job descriptions, handling background checks and creating salary justifications.
• Tracks metric hiring statistics including distributing weekly status reports to hiring managers, providing weekly recruitment reports to HR Rep.
• Updates Brass Ring on a timely basis to ensure accurate reporting on statistics on time-to- fill, costs, applicant flow, candidate development and source of hire.
• Develops proactive recruitment strategies in close collaboration with business unit senior management and HR Rep.
• Partners with HR Rep and Compensation in recommending new hire salary offers.
• Assists in development of methods to improve recruiting procedures.
• Assists in development of techniques to improve candidate satisfaction and quality of service.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Approximately 5-8 years of experience in recruitment required.
• Bachelor's degree and experience in-house recruiting in the video games industry strongly preferred.
• Outgoing, calm, focused, results-oriented, self-motivated, entrepreneurial professional.
• Leadership ability, exceptional diplomacy and strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and writing).
• Able to work well with coworkers and effectively in a team environment but also able to work independently, prioritize and handle pressure.
• Organized, detail oriented and demonstrated ability to manage high volume recruitment activities.
• Discreet, able to handle confidential information.
• Demonstrated ability to execute full cycle level searches.
• Able to draft / create job descriptions.
• Able to target and source potential candidates for searches.
• Able to analyze resumes and determine appropriate matches for vacancies.
• Stays abreast of market trends and tracks the competition.
• Knowledge of Affirmative Action and EEO guidelines on employee selection and employee relations issues relative to the recruitment process.
• Strong working knowledge with a company-wide recruitment database system, internet, HRIS system, MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Able to learn new computer skills as required.
