Department Overview:
The Recruitment Team is part of the Generalist HR Team based at Warner House, London and consists of: Recruitment Director, Recruitment Advisor, Recruitment Programmes and Operations Advisor and Intern. The Recruitment team is responsible for all aspects of recruitment across the diverse divisions within the parent company Warner totalling approximately 550 staff. The team also provide ad hoc support to the Games companies, TT Games and Rocksteady as well as providing expertise to Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden and WB TV Productions UK.
The key objectives of the Recruitment Team are to provide the business with the best talent to achieve its goals, by using direct methods of recruitment and facilitating internal mobility as well as Working with our Manager Supplier to hire the best temporary labour in the most cost effective manner.
The Recruitment Team also run the Placement Student and Apprentice Recruitment Programmes as well as providing assistance to the Creative Talent Programme.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Recruitment Advisor will partner with hiring managers across all WB divisions to recruit entry level to Director level roles, ensuring the most efficient and cost effective recruitment support is provided resulting in successful hires.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the recruitment of a wide range of roles across the Warner Bros. business.
• Manages the end to end recruitment process as required for roles across the business; working closely with hiring managers to advise and recommend individual recruitment solutions which are tailored to their specific needs. Including online advertising/sourcing of relevant candidates, managing internal applicants, managing the interview process and any other selection techniques as required, and working closely with the Compensation & Benefits Director to recommend market competitive salary offers for new hires.
• Extends offers to successful candidates ensuring: appropriate business and HR sign off; the legal right to work in the UK; offer letters and employment agreements issued on a timely basis; hiring manager organizes an effective induction plan.
• Updating and management of Warner Bros. ATS (currently Brassring) on a timely basis to ensure accurate reporting on statistics on time to fill, costs, and source of hire.
• Supports the business in the provision of quality temporary staff working closely with WB's Managed Service Provider of Temporary Labour (currently Resource Solutions)
• Champions Warner Bros.' Employees First initiative by ensuring effective promotion and advertising of vacancies to existing employees; identifying and presenting qualified internal top tier candidates for vacant positions wherever possible; ensuring constructive and timely feedback to internal candidates.
• Co-ordinate the Employee Referral Programme ensuring that all employees receive payment for their referrals in a timely manner.
• Support the Recruitment Programmes Advisor with the facilitation and running of the Placement Student and Apprentice assessment days and the selection process.
• Maintain the Ex Placement Student Talent Pool to allow WB to keep in touch with high potential individuals with the aim of bringing them back into the business should a suitable role arise.
• Deputises for the Recruitment Director in their absence.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Relevant previous work experience
• A proven track record in either in house or agency recruitment.
• Experience managing the entire recruitment lifecycle.
• Excellent working knowledge of an ATS.
• Proven experience managing a high volume of recruitment.
• Demonstrable broad knowledge of compensation and general HR requirements
• Knowledge of the entertainment industry is useful but not necessary
Skills required
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task across concurrent priority projects is essential.
• Self-directed, articulate, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer satisfaction focus, interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with a wide variety of individuals.
• Stays abreast of market trends, social media and competitors.
• Knowledge of UK employment legislation in relation to employee selection and employee relations issues relative to the recruitment process and employment of staff.
• Strong working knowledge with a company-wide recruitment database system, Internet, PeopleSoft or similar system, MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Team Player willing to contribute and support the wider HR Team on activities beyond the pure scope of Recruitment & Selection where necessary.
