SUMMARY OF POSITION
Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Manager, Employee Communications & Marketing. This position provides communications management for Employee Communications & Engagement, a part of the Warner Bros. Human Resources team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manages and develops communication and marketing strategies for company programs, content, products and initiatives; working within and managing budgets as needed.
• Manages company intranet, Behind the Shield, including creating, gathering, writing, editing and posting compelling content. Manages inbound story ideas and requests for postings from various departments and business partners. Conducts research and initiates business unit outreach to gather information for content. Manages internal video strategies and creation. Contributes to ongoing development of Behind the Shield features, functionality and strategy. Works with team Specialist to manage Behind the Shield editorial calendar.
• Drafts and/or distributes company emails, including company-wide and HR-specific communications and executive messages, as well as other written and collateral materials for employee engagement and volunteer events, presentations, etc. Creates distribution lists.
• Partners with various internal divisions and departments to create, develop and execute promotions and communication programs that engage employees with the company's content and products.
• Identifies and works with internal and external vendors for design, video and other services as needed.
• Participates in, staffs and assists with various employee engagement programs, events, screenings and other activities, as needed, and as priorities change.
• Responds to correspondence and inquiries sent to shared department mailboxes, comments made on intranet, etc., as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, HR or related field preferred.
• Communications or marketing experience, including plan development and execution, or equivalent preferred; client service (internal or external) experience a plus.
• Previous experience writing about a variety of topics, and for diverse audiences required.
• Previous experience with development of creative, compelling content to meet business objectives preferred; experience in producing video content a plus.
• Previous experience interacting with colleagues/partners of all levels including executives required.
• Previous experience leading projects and teams to meet objectives preferred.
• Previous experience managing outsourced graphic design and printing projects preferred.
• HTML or content management tool experience a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required; knowledge of AP style preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills required.
• MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required; Mac experience preferred; familiarity with Skype preferred; experience with Photoshop or other graphic design software a plus.
• Experience with WordPress or other web platforms preferred.
• Experience with basic video editing a plus.
