What part will you play?
Warner Bros. corporate functions provide specialized knowledge and expertise to support all of the businesses. HR Services provides payroll, travel and expense, human resources, HRIS, IT and benefits administrative services to the Warner Bros. Entertainment Group of Companies, and they seek a Leave of Absence Administrator for the HR Core Services & Programs department.
What will you be doing?
• Administering leave of absence programs and activity, coordinating with payroll, workers compensation, and benefits departments and company's third party leave vendor and responding to inquiries from HR, labor relations, the leave vendor, and employment lawyers
• Monitoring and tracking leave of absences and workplace accommodations
• Communicating related policies and procedures to employees
• Obtaining and tracking necessary documentation
• Processing payroll status changes and assisting with the processing of the weekly and semi-monthly leave payrolls
• Updating vacation and sick leave accrual records as necessary
• Analyzing data and making recommendations
• Researching and resolving issues and assisting with other special projects as required
What do we require from you?
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferred)
• 2-5 years HR experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of State Disability and Workers Compensation laws and guidelines
• Ability to compose detailed correspondence, prepare reports and track detailed information for a large employee population
• Previous leave of absence administration and policy development experience (preferred)
• Effective and tactful communication skills, as this role interacts with all levels and departments
• Close attention to detail
• Flexible and adept at multitasking and prioritizing under strict time constraints in a fast-paced environment
• High level of confidentiality and good judgment
