Department Overview
The UK HR team provides HR provides commercially focused solutions on people issues to all of our Warner Bros. filmed entertainment businesses for the UK and Ireland (approx. 500 employees) as well our two Games companies - TT Games & Rocksteady, Leavesden Studios and WB TV Production UK. Our businesses are diverse ranging from the sales, marketing and distribution of Film, DVD and TV to the rapidly expanding local TV production, digital distribution and Games markets.
The Learning and OD Team additionally supports learning and organizational development for our European offices, the largest of which are France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and Nordics.
Job Purpose
To support the European Warner Bros. business through professional, pragmatic and leading edge learning and organisational development and excellence in business partnering. To work collaboratively as part of a small London-based team, and through building strong relations and partnerships with colleagues in Europe and our head office in LA, USA.
Main Responsibilities
LEAD AND MANAGE OD INITIATIVES TO SUPPORT THE EUROPEAN BUSINESS

• Partnering with leaders to run facilitate talent reviews for their teams
• Leading and project managing our talent development centre: Developing Leaders Programme. (This includes managing our third party partner, identifying delegates, managing the centre, auditing feedback reports and coaching leaders and delegates through outputs and action planning).
• Initiate, design drive a programme to enable business leaders to learn from our Milennials (eg Intern population).
• Design and deliver leadership programmes on critical areas for WB leaders – eg Innovation and Change.
• Bring thought leadership and make concrete recommendations to input into the L&OD Strategy for Europe.
• Build relations with HR Managers responsible for L&OD in Europe,
SUPPORT THE EUROPEAN IMPLEMENTATION OF CORPORATE OD PROJECTS AND PRIORITIES
• Lead and support (as appropriate) the implementation of corporate OD initiatives: eg
• Roll-out of a new performance management culture through training, communication and development in Europe.
• Implementation, communication and feedback of engagement and culture surveys.
OD BUSINESS PARTNER TO INTERNAL CLIENTS
• Build strong relationships with WBUK business leaders and additional European/Corp leaders and become L&OD business partner through:
• Identifying team and organisational needs
• Consulting and responding to needs with appropriate interventions
• Delivering team interventions as required
• Evaluating the impact of interventions
• Support internal clients through effective Change Management
• Run 1-1 coaching programmes for up to Director level as appropriate (either managing external coaches or through coaching directly).
• Responding to HR or business requests for OD support through needs analysis, coaching and mediation.
OD TEAM MEMBER
• Work collaboratively and flexibly as part of small OD team, supporting L&OD Senior Manager and VP Learning and OD as required.
• Managing some aspects of the L&D Intern's work.
• Co-delivering on our leadership development programmes with our external partner.
Skills
and Competencies Required
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduate preferred
• CIPD qualified or similar OD certification/qualification
• Qualified in at least one diagnostic instrument (eg MBTI, TMSDI)
Ideal:
• Masters qualification in eg business psychology
• Coaching qualification (even at introductory level)
• Fluency in a European language.
EXPERIENCE
• Significant experience in learning and organisational development management role.
• Proven success in a business partnering role, supporting the business through OD.
• Experience of supporting a business or division through significant change.
• Experience of design and delivery of learning initiatives and especially of team development and team planning programmes.
• Proven experience in project management; taking a new idea or innovation from start to finish, involving multiple stakeholders.
• Proven experience of coaching to Director level.
• Able to show how learning initiatives they have driven have resulted in business impact.
• Ideally experienced in working in a European environment.

• Is results-focused and can take projects through from start to finish.
• Demonstrating high standards in wanting to innovate and improve.
• Excellent PC skills (especially Excel, Word and Powerpoint) and ability to present high standards of written documentation.
• Professional and well-presented.
• Flexible: willing and able to travel and stay overnight as necessary, including Europe (usually once or twice a month).
