SUMMARY OF POSITION
Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Coordinator, Employee Communications & Engagement for the HR Employee Engagement department. This role supports the engagement of employees around the world with the strategies, businesses, content and products of the Warner Bros. Entertainment group of companies, helping to shape company culture.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide administrative and logistical support for employee engagement programs that include the company's Business Resource Groups (BRGs), volunteerism, mentoring, outreach activities, and other general employee events. Update, track and maintain accurate information on BRG budgets, shared event calendar, membership rosters, board contact sheet, volunteer hours and other reports as needed. Liaise with BRG boards to assess and provide support, including identifying and securing company resources, processing expense requests, coordinating event logistics and providing onsite event support. Help to recruit and coordinate volunteers for company outreach events. Track, record and monitor volunteer hours and arrange for supplies.
• Provide marketing and communications support for employee programs, engagement initiatives and other internal communications, including written materials, intranet postings, social media, printed materials, company memorandums and newsletters. Assist with distribution of banners, posters and other printed materials as needed. Support ongoing maintenance and redesign/upgrades to intranet. Monitor and respond to inbound inquires to various ECE mailboxes. Distribute company wide emails as needed and create/ manage distribution lists.
• Coordinate department administrative needs, including budget tracking and invoice processing, expense reports, department meeting scheduling, office supplies/equipment, etc. Track and prepare reports on department outcomes.
• Contribute to ongoing development of new employee engagement initiatives including ''street teams,'' platforms, channels, technologies and tools that enrich the employee experience worldwide.
• Staff and assist with execution of other ECE activities, programs and events, including employee campaigns, executive presentations, screenings, etc. Perform other related duties as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• BS/BA degree preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional employee engagement, human resources, communications, or event coordination experience or equivalent required.
• Program and events management experience preferred.
• Previous experience with nonprofit organizations and/or community relations preferred.
• Previous experience in communications and/or marketing preferred.
• Previous experience in a corporate setting required.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Strong creative writing and editorial skills; Knowledge of AP style a plus.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with focus on teamwork.
• Must be able to demonstrate strong research and analytical skills.
• Must be able to present and speak in public.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel along with experience using WordPress, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign preferred; Knowledge of video editing software a plus.
• Must be a team player, with the ability to adapt to a variety of situations and work effectively with people from all across the company.
• Must be able to take initiative and be a self-starter, as well as keeping supervisors updated.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with personnel on all levels, in person, on the telephone or over written communication.
• Must have solid interpersonal skills and a proven ability to develop and maintain required support relationships.
• Must be able to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks successfully with attention to detail.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Must be able to conduct oneself in a professional/courteous manner.
• Must be reliable and be available attend various activities before, during and after regular business hours, when necessary.
