Warner Bros. Entertainment seeks an Associate Video Producer for the Warner Bros. Employee Communications & Engagement team.
*This is a fixed-term, 12-month position.
The Associate Video Producer will be responsible for developing, planning, shooting and editing multi-media - primarily video - content for the company's intranet, Behind the Shield, as well as other channels used by our global employee population. The Associate Video Producer will help create a steady stream of compelling, meaningful stories that keep employees informed and engaged, and help foster our company culture.
The Associate Video Producer is comfortable working as a one-person crew and as part of a larger production team, depending on the need. This person is also just as comfortable identifying, developing and creating compelling content ideas; as well as taking on projects as directed from other team members and partners. Comfort with fast-paced environments and tight deadlines are a must. Sometimes great stories can't wait!
More specific responsibilities include:
• Planning, shooting and editing video content for Warner Bros.' internal website, Behind the Shield; working with a producer and independently; Developing content and story ideas that align with internal and external communication strategies and company priorities; supporting content needs as directed by colleagues and partners; maintaining an editorial calendar.
• Coordinating and/or shooting events and presentations for the purposes of live streaming.
• Identifies and works with internal and external vendors for design, video and other services as needed; management of necessary software and accounts relevant to digital content including video players, stock images, music and others as needed.
• Supports development and distribution of content to employees as needed.
• Participates in, staffs and assists with various employee engagement programs, events, screenings and other activities, strategies and tactics as needed, and as priorities change; includes still photography as needed for content purposes.
What do we require from you?
• Experience shooting video with professional level camera equipment, including audio and lighting.
• Experience with video editing in a variety of styles and formats – from formal corporate content to fast-turnaround social media content.
• Experience with video production and planning, including logistical arrangements, developing interview questions, interviewing subjects, obtaining necessary permissions and approvals, etc.
• Experience developing video story ideas from concept to completion.
• Experience interacting with and directing professionals at all levels and within multiple professions.
• Preferred experience with graphic design or motion graphics and video content creation for corporate environments.
• Expertise in camera operation including audio and lighting; must include wide range of content from professional cameras to mobile phones – depending on the need/objectives of the project.
