SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Analyst, Union Pension Health & Welfare for the HRSS UPH&W department. The Analyst, Union Pension Health and Welfare is responsible for supporting operational activities within the union pension, health & welfare area including analyzing, reviewing, and processing weekly pension payments. He/she will research and provide responses to audits in cooperation with Payroll and the Labor Relations departments and prepare materials for external and internal auditors. He/she is also responsible for maintenance of records (current and historical) needed to administer and research pension and health contributions. He/she will participate in special projects when required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct operational activities within Union Pension Health & Welfare function.
• Analyze and review pension transactions in Workday Payroll and SAP Financials.
• Run and download reports from SAP Business Objects.
• Audit for discrepancies in transactions and reports.
• Process weekly pension payments to MPI and the Guilds by working with Accounts Payable.
• Document and provide explanations for credit transactions.
• Identify and submit adjustments on pension and health contributions.
• Research and process manual and retro payments to guilds.
• Provide analysis over deal memos and reviews against pension ceilings.
• Assisting Labor Relations/Business Affairs with any questions.
• Process and oversee refund requests.
• Support in reporting and processing any pension rate changes.
• Support pension and health contributions audit activities.
• Research and reply to inquiries from Labor Relations.
• Research and reply to inquiries from MPI, Guilds, and 3rd party auditors.
• Develop and maintain working documents to support and substantiate audit results.
• Prepare materials for external and internal auditors.
• Provide write-ups and summaries to Management of audit activities.
• Compile, analyze, and document issues in order to identify systemic issues or problems and recommendations for process improvement.
• Review and update training materials and documentation on Union Pension Health & Welfare processing to ensure compliance with internal policies and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
• Support the Manager, Pension and Payroll Audit with ad hoc projects, as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in a business related field, or equivalent combination of training and work experience required.
• 1-3 years of experience in pension, health & welfare reporting/auditing or business related field.
• Experience with Workday/SAP preferred.
• Previous Payroll, Accounting/Finance/Audit, or Legal/Labor Relations experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a confidential environment preferred.
• Previous entertainment industry experience preferred.
• Experience with a large multi-business unit organization is a plus.
• Experience working in a shared services organization is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint required.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proven analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to dissect problems and facilitate solution design amongst peers.
• Ability to implement process improvements to meet client needs.
• Ability to set and manage priorities and deadlines.
