SUMMARY OF POSITION The Learning Analyst is a member of the Learning and OD team responsible for the administration, design and the analysis and interpretation of data, pertaining to learning and development initiatives. This position also includes Process Management, Intranet Site (WBLN) and LMS management and presentation of recommendations for interventions. A heavy emphasis is placed on the use of technology to execute learning and OD processes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support organization-wide learning through the learning management system, including course creation, registrations, waitlists, cancellations, employee transcripts, reporting, content management and related duties.
• Maintain learning and organization development web assets (WBLN) including updating content and converting LOD assets to digital initiatives (Yammer).
• Assist in implementation, evaluation, reporting, and analysis of core LOD initiatives.
• Manage key learning processes such as tuition reimbursement, vendor management and processing and managing related costs.
• Assist in developing bundled learning assets to supplement instructor-led development. May include, job aids, checklists, resource guides etc.
• Resource Management of all learning and OD initiatives (including facilitators and event management).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's Degree required and Masters Degree in related field preferred (communication, organizational development, psychology, business administration, education).
• Minimum 1 year of organizational experience, as an intern or having worked previously in this role for another organization. Is interested in pursuing a career in Learning and OD and is happy to prove themselves in this role initially and to develop as a Learning and OD professional.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of working in a busy team and responding to various demands and needs.
• A self-starter with the ability to take on projects and duties and own the process end to end.
• Ability to communicate concisely and accurately with excellent attention to detail.
• Must be able to use a computer with a high degree of proficiency (MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
• Some experience working with tools such as; SkillPort (or any other Learning Management System) and Survey Monkey (or other survey tools).
• Some experience using survey and assessment tools to identify business needs and measure effectiveness of solutions.
• Developing project planning, project management skills and can prove capability in this area rather than experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to support large scale projects in their capacity as administrator.
