Senior Casting Services Recruiter (The Disneyland Resort)

Recruiter leads the full recruitment lifecycle and talent acquistion for a defined Line of Business and client area, specifically O&T roles and/or Skill based roles. Recruiter develops an annual recruitment plan that includes hiring goals, sourcing, marketing, recruitment workflow tactics and contingency factors based on client drivers and business conditions. Recruiter works with clients and key partners on a regular basis to ensure quality, speed to fill and onboarding connectivity. Recruiter leads formal meetings, socializes recruitment plans and share business metrics real time.
Recruiter is responsible for recruitment functions in the applicant cycle including attraction & marketing, sourcing & networking, talent selection and onboarding.
Recruiters is responsible to ensure quality of hires through an understanding of the line of business, competencies and skills required for the roles, and employment law.
All members of the Casting team must demonstrate respect, value and appreciation for every applicant modeling Disney Guest Service standards (including the 4 keys and SERVICE model.)
Responsibilities
• Lead continuous improvement via assessment tools, measurement tools, scorecards and recruitment analytics
• Open and manage multiple postings for client. Provide weekly and monthly business recaps.
• Screen and Interview applicants for employment; work with clients on secondary interviews and/or skill based interviews
• Document interview and outcome
• Work with area leaders and partners to ensure effective onboarding flow, timing, sequencing
• Support participation in Recruiting activities such as job fairs/events, off-site recruiting activities/events
• Maintain knowledge of positions through area training, leadership meetings, in-costume overviews
• Project manage the day to day recruitment operations through the development and execution of full life cycle recruitment plans; ensuring candidate, client, and partner experiences are met with exceptional delivery
• Act as a recruiting subject matter expert through strong business acumen, assessment skills, identifying best practices and demonstrating relationship management expertise
• Develop recruitment plans based on business and economic factors, including marketing, sourcing, methodology, investment and business measures
• Partner with Workforce Planning (or Staffing teams) on hiring plan for updates, adjustments, client concerns or needs
• Facilitate active talent pipelining through creative and strategic sourcing tactics, workforce diversity initiatives, interactive marketing plans and networking opportunities.
• Utilize recruitment tools for technology optimization, process efficiencies and applicant pool management
• Oversee daily Casting operation when scheduled as Manager on Duty. Responsible for resources deployment/utilization to ensure positive candidate and team experience.
• Comply with all Company, Union, State and Federal legal codes and policies
Basic Qualifications
• Human Resources, Business or Related
• 7 Salaried Leadership experience
• 5 years of Disney recruitment experience
• Disney Resort experience, Hospitality industry experience
• Extensive experience screening and interviewing candidates for employment
• Strong Knowledge and understanding of Employment Law and Union Contracts
• Strong Computer skills - knowledge of desktop applications, ability to learn additional computer systems
• Strong Working knowledge of SAP, Kenexa (or similar system)
• Experience developing and executing comprehensive recruitment plans
• Moderate sourcing capabilities, leveraging recruitment tools, search engines, networking
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Ability to assess behaviors, skills and competencies for wide variety of roles
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Exemplifies and shares the Disney values and philosophies.
• Ability to influence, negotiate and lead change

• Strong Business Acumen and Metric Orientation
• Maintain high level of confidentiality
