Casting Services Recruiter Disneyland Resort (Temporary Opportunity)

This Recruiter position will be working for the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. This role will be a part of a larger team responsible for the recruitment of high-volume entry-level and skilled hourly roles supporting the Disneyland Resort Operations teams. Interested candidates must have full and flexible availability to work during peak recruiting seasons with the potential for additional hours in the non-peak seasons.
This is a temporary position, with no guarantee of permanent placement. This role is expected to last through the end of fiscal year, 2017.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for high-volume recruitment functions in the applicant cycle including screening applicants, interviews, selection and hiring workflow.
• Demonstrate strategic thinking by developing and executing comphrehensive recruitment plans; ensuring the candidate, client, team, and recruiter experiences are met with exceptional service delivery.
• Responsible to ensure quality of hire though an understanding of the line of business, competencies and skills required for the roles, and employment law.
• Responsible to develop strong team/peer, client and key partner relationships.
• Effectively coach hiring managers in recruitment and selection processes ensuring legal compliance.
• Represent the Disneyland Resort at job fairs, industry events, etc.
• Drive facilitation of continuous improvement via measurement tools, scorecards, and recruitment analytics.
Basic Qualifications
• Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Demonstrated strong problem solving and decision making skills
• Demonstrated strong negotiating and influencing skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in using various computer applications and multi-tasking
• Ability to work in a structured and goal driven high-volume environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Recruiting or HR certifications
• Previous recruitment expereince for positions represented by Collective Bargaining Agreements
Required Education
• High School Graduate Or Equivalent
Preferred Education
• BA/BS strongly preferred in Human Resources, Business, Hospitality Management or other related fields
