Overview:
The Vice President, Commercial Partnerships- EMEA will be a key member of the WWE International Marketing and Communications leadership team. This role will create and execute country specific brand campaigns and develop and implement highly effective marketing and promotional strategies for all lines of business including TV, Consumer Products/Licensing, Live Events and Digital. The role is hands-on and requires consistent delivery against measurable brand metrics as well as growing the company’s social media footprint and fan engagement.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee identification of prospects, and cultivation and solicitation strategies, and closing of deals.
• Secure multi-regional and local sponsorship partners utilizing a range of WWE’s assets
• Work across the organization with Live Events, Consumer Products, CMD, Digital to conceptualize, develop and execute revenue generating opportunities.
• Work with local/multi regional prospects to gain a clear understanding of their needs, and develop customized packages to win their business and acquire new revenues
• Work collaboratively with marketing staff and colleagues to create customized content or presentations as sales collateral for use in sponsorship presentations, in accordance with WWE’s branding, and other guidelines
• Conduct continuous prospecting and research across key EMEA markets and all platforms
• Present WWE’s brand to potential national/international sponsorship partners and develop an integrated, solution-driven approach to creating sponsorship packages
• Maintain accurate and updated records of all contacts and revenue projection pipeline of opportunities, highlighting all the prospecting, research, networking, outbound calls, and attendance at trade shows, conferences, events, and/or programs.
• Coordinate and execute all activation requirements liaising with WWE International, Live Events, Marketing and Talent Relations for sponsorship packages
• Liaise with Domestic sponsorship team to share best practice
• P&L responsibility, including leading the budget and estimates process for the sponsorship LOB
Qualifications:
• At least 7 years of International sponsorship and corporate partnership sales experience with a major cross-media international sports or entertainment company
• Firm understanding of cross platform; digital and partner/sponsor sales
• Awareness of and enthusiasm for general media, technology, entertainment, sports and platform trends
• Proven track record of revenue generation
• Senior level presentation, influencing and leadership skills
• Target driven and goal oriented
• Existing sales relationships with international brands/advertisers/agencies essential
