This is a Full Time Job
The VP, WWE Kids Entertainment is responsible for overseeing the strategic development,
execution, and promotion of our WWE Kids Entertainment initiative. This person will drive internal partnerships leading kid focused projects involving programming and production, digital, social and web, consumer products, international, marketing and fan engagement initiatives as well as identifying opportunities for external partnerships, acquisitions
and CSR events.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and carry out the overall creative vision for WWE’s kids and family business
* Develop a powerful brand image campaign built to attract our “younger fans” and “moms” demographic
* Be the thought leader on the complexities of children's content, understanding and educating on legal requirements and best practices
* Identify business opportunities to expand the WWE kids brand through programming, consumer products and other revenue generating business lines.
* Identify key domestic and international markets for our kids and family brands and products
* Partner with key stakeholders across the company to develop and execute plans that drive awareness and understanding of our kids’ initiative.
* Possess a robust network within the kids industry
* Demonstrate business development skills showing a track record of identifying and securing partnership opportunities within the kids’ industry.
* Have strong project management experience, ideally with cross functional depth to work with various departments such as: Consumer Products, International, Live Events, T.V., Films, Digital and Marketing.
* Spear-head various processes including but not limited to:budgeting, technical requirements, production, scheduling and ad hoc projects when needed.
Qualifications:
* 10+ years’ experience in kids program planning with a deep understanding of kids pop- culture, trends, and topical events, especially as they relate to television development, programming, and marketing
* Strong experience working with Kid’s programming, content, promotions and production
* 10+ years’ of project management experience
* Strong knowledge of children’s compliance laws, regulations and best practices
* Exceptional leadership and management skills with previous
experience developing and leveraging strong relationships across an organization.
* Highly developed written and verbal communications skills.
* Ability to communicate vision and strategy effectively with senior management, staff, and external partners.
* MBA preferred
