Overview:
WWE has an exciting opportunity for a creative, hands-on TV Production executive to work with our Executive Vice President of Programming in overseeing shows, series, and development projects.
Responsibilities:
• Work with EVP of Programming at TV Network in managing and crafting all of the shows being made for the WWE Network
• Function as a key decision maker on current series and development projects
• Work with EVP of Programming and TV Network in coming up with series and developing the creative for those series which will include who the talent is on the show, how the show will be structured and figuring out what the episodic breakdown of the show will be
• Give notes to our studio team on cuts of all episodes that will be airing on the network to help make the most compelling show’s possible
• Work with EVP of Programming to come up with new shows and strategic planning for the network
• Collaborate with writers to improve scripts and edits
• Bring projects to their full potential both through creative development and pairing talent with production teams
• Maintain close relationships with key departments internally
Qualifications:
• 10+ years in television production
• Have deep contacts in the media/entertainment industry
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must have the ability to work well with many different people
• Have a deep breadth of experience when it comes to making and overseeing shows
• Strong creative vision
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain positive relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willing and able to travel as needed for business , 30% travel
• Bachelor degree preferred
• Able to work flexible hours including some nights and weekends, as needed
• Willing to work in Stamford, CT
