The VP, International Strategy & Business Development will drive increased enterprise value through applying deep industry experience with proactive and creative deal sourcing that leads to transactions (acquisitions, partnerships, etc) to extend WWE's capabilities to new segments of opportunity in the international environment. This role will have responsibility for sourcing and executing transactions that align with WWE's strategic international roadmap,while working collaboratively with cross functional teams.
Responsibilities:
* Develop deep intelligence and business model expertise for top emerging markets specifically for international programming, sponsorhship, digital, video, mobile and social sectors.
* Work closely with the exectutive team and business unit leaders to develop a comprehensive international acquisition and partnership strategic framework to guide areas of focus and opportunity.
* Specifying business requirements for international dashboards and marketing scorecards, serving, rich media, platform analytics data, budget/planning data, attitudinal data, etc.
* Build a pipeline of strategic international opportunities through developing a network of the key players in the industry from which to source potential transactions.
* Prepare detailed business cases and recommendations to the executive team.
* Lead international planning efforts, formulate business approach, establish performance metrics, meaure, track, analyze, work across all lines of business to gather business requirements,across all regions to incorporate cultural and other regional considerations.
* Prepare indepth key managment reports for executive committee and board.
Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in the business development space and a thorough understanding of global business environments impacting the programming, sponsorship, digital, mobile, social and advertising ecosystem
* Strong experience analyzing and presenting all relevant market, industry, and company factors to support proactively identifiying targets and priorities
* Expertise in developing business and investment cases, financial analysis and modeling, understanding of legal agreements and creating presentations
* Experience working in a global or multi-national business required
* Ability to contribute to high level strategy in addition to being a master of details and process when needed
* 6-10 years experience with at least 3 years focused in strategic consulting, investment banking, private equity or corporate development environments
* MBA, or other releveant advanced degree
