Full Time Job
WWE is seeking a savvy, hands-on, accomplished leader to manage a sales team located in NYC and Stamford, CT with the goal of driving significant new business revenue. This role will focus on traditional and non-traditional prospecting to target national companies through strategic analysis, market trends, partner contacts, and company/industry relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a Sales team based in New York City and Stamford, CT
• Oversee the team in developing a pipeline of qualified sponsorship and media prospects large enough to meet or exceed financial goals
• Understand clients' marketing needs and business models in order to expedite sales cycles
• Understand WWE capabilities and accurately articulate WWE value sponsorship and media propositions
• Communicate industry opportunities to management and help facilitate conversations and initiatives designed to best position WWE for success
Revenue Generation
Maintain a keen focus on identifying client challenges and translating them into opportunities to sell WWE partnerships and media solutions:
• Identify and cultivate new revenue opportunities with category focus
• Manage client relationships from initial pitch through transition/onboarding, onto long-term engagements of ongoing strategic management and leadership
• Creatively explore upsell/leverage opportunities with existing sponsorship and media partners
Leadership
Function as a growth-focused leader with a strong ability to inspire, align and deploy the right mix and level of skills to develop, implement and optimize sponsorship and media programs that deliver client solutions profitably:

• Demonstrate understanding of client/partner needs, marketplace and competitors
• Understand the needs of the sales, audience development, production and technology teams, and participate in healthy debates with co-executives on corporate and business unit goals

Build deep, trusted relationships/partnerships with sponsors, media agencies and partners in order to serve their varied marketing and sales needs:

• Achieve results by accurately forecasting revenue, delivering quality solutions to marketing needs, solving problems and seeing them through to resolution
• Influence and gain buy-in from all internal stakeholders

Qualifications:
• 10 years of proven revenue development experience with progressively responsible roles focused on integrated sponsorship & digital media expertise, preferably in consultative selling to Fortune 500 C-level decision makers and/or similar senior level agency decision makers
• Proven track record of successfully closing seven figure sponsorship and/or media deals
• Solid understanding of the digital/technology landscape including industry trends, key players, terminology and overall knowledge of the sponsorship/media landscape with ability to craft integrated marketing plans and solutions
• Strong goal orientation with proven track record of building a pipeline of new business and exceeding established financial targets
• Robust analytical skills, including market strategy and a value-based selling process
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to create and deliver convincing and strategic sales approaches, proposals, documentations and presentations
• Motivated by a rewarding commission-based compensation plan
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively inform, motivate, and organize a multi-person sales team
• Advanced negotiating skills
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while staying highly organized and detail-oriented
• Willing and able to travel for business (approximately 10% ) and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Bachelor degree required, Master degree preferred
