Key Responsibilities:
• Innovate and grow social experiences on WWE's platforms
• Create and partner on TV Integration and Live Fan Engagement
• Partner on developing platforms/ products
• Build social media plans in support of all WWE events
• Utilize cutting edge/out-of-the box approaches to the social media initiative
• Advise Creative and Talent on how best to maximize their social media presence
• Support the integration of social media into WWE's data strategy
• Design social media plans that target and drive traffic in WWE's key markets
• Work with corporate partners, Investor Relations, Human Resources, Corporate Relations/ PR on social media initiatives
• Build an engaged social footprint
• Own partnerships with social platforms
• Continually search for new and improved social media solutions
• Oversee and manage team of 10 employees
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced, dynamic and talented, multi-dimensional social media executive, strategic and tactical in nature, with 10 plus years of experience in cutting edge environments – the majority of which will be within the digital media industry. A more recent emphasis on social media is required. More specifically, this person must possess most if not all of the following:
• Seven plus years of experience managing teams in the digital media space, as head of a department, providing strong mentorship, fostering of career growth and inspiring creative thinking
• Knowledge of existing and emerging social media platforms, trends, tactics and technologies, and the ability to synthesize and recommend which are appropriate for WWE clients
• Be both a social scientist and knowledgeable of the social space from a product perspective
• Ability to align all social media activity with WWE's business objectives
• A reputation as an aggressive, ''get the job done'' executive coupled with the ability to motivate and empower
• Experience tying social media to outcome
• Decisive; capable of articulating strong points of view and making decisions while demonstrating a collaborative attitude and approach
• Knowledge of and experience with social media metrics and the analytics inherent in the space
• A passion for excellence
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to convey technical concepts in a clear, understandable way and to translate ''techno speak'' into layman's terms
• Team-oriented approach and a strong performance-centric mentality. Superior diplomatic and consensus building skills
• Unquestionable professional and personal integrity
• Established relationships with key vendors are a plus
• Data harvesting and analysis
• User acquisition, engagement and retention
• Bachelor's degree required, MBA or Master's degree is preferred
