Overview:
WWE has an exciting opportunity for a Vice President, Marketing to join our team of professionals at the corporate office in Stamford, CT.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the development and execution of all national/international marketing and promotional campaigns to maximize subscriber acquisition, retention and loyalty to the Network.
• Research and adopt cutting-edge subscription marketing strategies to drive new subscribers, strengthen relationships with existing customers and minimize churn.
• Leverage data and analysis to increase subscriber sales, consumption of content and ROI of paid media campaigns.
• Drive significant quarterly/annual P&L gains.
• Capitalize on partners’ proven marketing tactics and assets to drive new subscribers and minimizing churn. Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies that will complement, support and amplify all partner marketing programs. Forge strong ties with partners’ marketing teams and secure their support to aggressively promote the Network to their customers on an ongoing basis.
• Take full advantage of company’s extensive promotional platforms and passionate fans to drive increased subscriptions.
• Develop, lead and nurture productive relationships with subscribers to attract and retain targeted subscription goals, to increase usage and to expand awareness of product offering.
• Creatively incorporate and leverage key calendar periods and broad promotional assets to incentivize both partners and subscribers.
• Lead the development of break-through marketing materials, including on-air, print, radio, outdoor, and digital, that will support key business objectives.
• Develop supporting materials that will convey incentives, program offerings, pricing, and points of differentiation (e.g., premiums, banners, displays, posters, brochures, one-sheets, and other visual materials).
• Manage relationships and regularly interface with key executives in Programming, Scheduling, Creative, etc.
• Collaborate with Communications team to leverage all marketing and promotional investments and opportunities.
• Forecast and analyze customer trends and behaviors, which ultimately serve to enhance customer experience and minimize churn. Regularly liaise with Customer Service to understand the complete customer experience.
• Monitor the marketplace for competitors’ activities, promotions, and annual calendar of events and keep key executives advised of same. Track key competitive trends and transactional activity.
• Manage Network marketing budget; hire and oversee appropriate external agencies, consultants and vendors, as necessary.
• Responsible for analyzing effectiveness of campaign efforts and sharing best practices.
• The role encompasses marketing, promotion, CRM strategy and analytics.
Qualifications:
• Performance-driven, results-oriented marketer devoted to driving customer subscriptions and furthering Network’s position in a competitive marketplace.
• Proven track record of success in subscription marketing field, preferably at a digital content subscription service, with ability to analyze, synthesize and effectively communicate key takeaways of complex data.
• Highly developed strategic and creative marketing skills with the demonstrated ability to generate and implement high-impact, lean budget marketing programs and promotions that increase subscriptions/sales.
• Sophisticated and highly developed written and verbal communications skills; excellent presentation skills; customer-oriented and sales-driven vision.
• Able to work effectively and proactively with peers, subordinates, superiors and key external constituents across all business units.
• Top-tier undergraduate / graduate education.
• Strong leadership and management skills demonstrated at a highly successful company.
• Extraordinary attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational skills. Must be able to generate high-quality material in a fast paced, dynamic environment; manage multiple projects at once; and flexibly respond to rapidly changing priorities in order to meet the dynamics of a competitive marketplace.
• Able to supervise the production of high-quality marketing materials inexpensively while maintaining the integrity of the product.
