WWE is seeking a savvy, hands-on, accomplished leader to manage Media Partner strategic initiatives with the goal of driving significant new business revenue. This role will serve as a liaison for WWE Media Partners while delivering on strategic analysis, market trends, partner contacts, company/industry relationships and vertical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute WWE growth strategies associated with Media Partner contract negotiations
• Coordinate and integrate media strategy across WWE teams and departments
• Build relationships with media outlets and liaise and approve communications
• Negotiate media and marketing contracts, contractors and associated fees
• Create media strategies across channels and set metrics and goals
• Analyze data to determine impacts and drive strategy
• Understand client marketing needs and business models in order to expedite sales cycle
• Understand WWE capabilities and accurately articulate the value of WWE sponsorship and media propositions
• Lead and manage Account Manager, Media Services
Qualifications:
• 10 years of proven revenue development experience with progressively responsible roles focused on integrated sponsorships and digital media expertise, preferably in consultative selling to Fortune 500 C-level decision makers and/or similar senior level agency decision makers
• Proven track record of successfully closing seven figure sponsorship and/or media deals
• Solid understanding of the digital/technology landscape including industry trends, key players, terminology and overall knowledge of the sponsorship/media landscape with ability to craft integrated marketing plans and solutions
• Strong goal orientation with proven track record of building a pipeline of new business and exceeding established financial targets
• Robust analytical skills, including market strategy and a value-based selling process
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to create and deliver convincing and strategic sales approaches, proposals, documentations and presentations
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively inform, motivate, and organize a multi-person sales team
• Advanced negotiating skills
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while staying highly organized and detail-oriented
• Willing and able to travel for business (approximately 15% ) and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Bachelor degree required, Master degree a plus
