Full Time Job
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Financial Reporting and General Accounting functions and teams
• Oversee the research and documentation of technical accounting issues and implementation of accounting treatment
• Oversee the accounting close processes (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Oversee preparation and review of information in support of the annual financial audit and quarterly reviews
• Oversee and improve controls over financial reporting
• Document and review significant assumptions and processes involved in the preparation of financial statements
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, SEC, and GAAP reporting guidelines
• Prepare quarterly financial statements and supporting documents, including quarterly communications with the Company's Audit Committee
• Continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the accounting, closing and reporting processes
• Meet monthly closing deadlines
• Manage and develop professional staff
• Ensure accuracy of accounting staff work through detailed reviews
• Document policies and procedures surrounding accounting processes
Requirements:
• 10 years related experience
• Bachelor degree in Accounting
• CPA required
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office applications (JD Edwards, Workday, and/or TM1 a plus)
• Strong analytic, management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented but also able to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
