Full Time Unpaid Internship
Overview:
Fall 2013 Internship
The WWE Internship Experience:
• Personal mentors assigned to each intern based on department needs.
• Unique learning objectives for each student based on departmental goals.
• Opportunities to learn multiple aspects of business.
• Ability to connect with top industry professionals and lay the groundwork for your future.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor multiple social media sites and various venue and ticketing websites and create weekly reports for each event.
• Assist with creating and gathering social media content for each event to pass along to our media and venue partners and scheduling posts on the WWE Social Media Calendar.
• Assist with updating information in our information management system LES to make sure the most accurate and up-to-date information is included. Including venue contacts and updated advertised matches
• Monitor our event listings on Ticketmaster.com and wwe.com to ensure all event information is correct including venue maps, show logos and other event information.
• Monitor wwe.com live events tickets page with correct information.
• Compile weekly Reel Sheets and order their corresponding DVD’s to assist in double checking tv spots
• Assist with updating event information as it changes. This includes updating events cards and checking all venues and media partners’ digital assets to make sure they reflect these changes.
• Compile and mail press kits for media days
• Ship prize packs, tickets, posters/ flyers etc.
• Assist marketing rep with day of show duties
• Compile upcoming live event graphics to run during WWE programing to help ticket sales
• Assist with various other projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Requirements:
• Able to work in Stamford, CT
• Must be eligible to receive college credit and available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week
• Professional demeanor is essential
• Preferred candidates have a 3.0 GPA or higher
