We are seeking highly motivated and organized college students in their junior or senior year, looking for career experience in a wide variety of majors including Marketing, Journalism, Communications and Interactive and Social Media.
An internship with WWE will allow you to connect with top industry professionals and lay the groundwork for your future in digital and social media!
Social Media Intern Duties:
• Execute schedule of promotional items for WWE's social network channels as scheduled by supervisor, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Vine, Snapchat, Tumblr, Pinterest and more.
• Assist with digital content creation for WWE's social media campaigns for both internal and external constituents.
• Assist with live social media coverage of weekly WWE programming, WWE Network and pay-per-view events.
• Monitor WWE brand identity/reputation on Twitter/Facebook, and appraise supervisors of potential issues with impostors, etc.
Job Requirements:
• College Junior or Senior living in the NYC/Stamford, CT area.
• Major in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or Digital Media Production a plus.
• Must be available to work 20 hours a week. Ability to work occasional Sundays and work 1-2 evenings a week is a must.
• Microsoft Office proficient.
• Experience with InDesign a plus.
• Knowledge of WWE characters, storylines and history a plus.
