Learning Objectives
• Understand the components of project management and put them into practice
• Develop an awareness of HR compliance measures
• Learn the fundamentals of Learning & Development, Recruiting, and Employee Relations
• Gain exposure to Workday, a popular HRIS system
Responsibilities:
• Act as WWE internship liaison for Summer Internship class
• Manage HR logistics for SummerSlam Veteran Networking Event in partnership with CSR team and Hire Heroes USA
• Conduct onboarding benchmarking, and create project plan for WWE onboarding revamp
• Assist in L&D marketing and communication initiatives
• Support various compliance initiatives
• Shadow and assist in design and launch of Workday Learning, Learning Management System.
Qualifications:
• Intern must be a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student during the 2017 Summer semester
• Student must be able to work in Stamford, CT
• Ideal candidate has experience with project management and possesses excellent organizational skills
• High energy level, confident, and optimistic demeanor with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
• Able to take initiative and work independently
• People-oriented
• Interest in Learning & Development, Human Resources or related field
