Full Time Job
The Robotic Camera Operator will have involvement in all aspects of studio operations, specializing in the setup, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of the Ross Furio Robotic Camera system.
We are seeking highly motivated, adaptable, team players that thrive under pressure and business changes and are prepared to do what it takes to get the job done.
This position requires being available to work off hours including overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate robotic cameras for live and taped production
• Adjust cameras for production including, color correction, knee, gamma, pedestal, phase, gamma and timing
• Adjust lighting, camera shading, and chroma keyer settings to achieve a high quality composite signal for usage with and without a virtual set environment
• Maintain and adjust timing of signal as needed for video recording and playback, video and audio delay, and camera robotic controls
• Maintain the video hardware / software platforms as needed and directed by engineering management
• Maintain camera robotics platforms and teleprompter hardware
Qualifications:
• Understanding of digital workflows, digital systems, and signal flow
• Enthusiastic about troubleshooting, learning new technologies, and figuring out how things work
• Excellent technical problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• In-depth knowledge of computer and IT network systems is a bonus
• Team player
• Must be able to analyze complex electronic problems and make recommendations for swift corrective action
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to work independently, yet strong collaboration skills are required
• Must be able to prioritize and be a pro-active thinker
• Willing to work flexible hours
• Previous studio production experience including operating multiple robotic cameras during a live production
