Full Time Job
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee all projects associated with the acquisition, development, and original programming for the WWE Network
• Receive and manage pitches from production companies and attend strategic meetings to identify content that will best fit the WWE network
• Oversee/help lead teams on the construct of a show, from start to finish (development/pre-production – production - post–production – distribution)
• Partner with EVP, Content and production companies in overseeing sizzle tapes, casting tapes or pilots
• Own the full development process and lead the collaboration between external clients and internal partners including Scheduling, Creative, etc.
• Participate in the creative process for internal shows through creative development and by pairing Talent with the appropriate production teams
• Approve programming grids and scheduling for the Network
• Be able to work cross-functionally to solicit ideas for original series, specials, etc.
• Grow external relationships to bring additional opportunities to the Network
• Strategize with outside production companies regarding research, content options and acquisitions
• Work with Legacy departments and design VOD roll-out and packaging
• Leverage data and analysis to guide decisions regarding the launch of new development projects, initiatives, conduct the appropriate research, and knowledge-sharing
• Provide creative input for TV marketing strategies
• Negotiate contracts with new potential partnerships
• Responsible for structuring and managing budget
• Stay current on product knowledge and storyline
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• 7 years in television executive management, and/or development
• Demonstrated understanding of the WWE brand
• Experience and working understanding of live, documentary and reality television
• Current working knowledge of industry trends and evolving pulse of industry
• Experience in project management to include leading creative projects and initiatives at a highly successful company
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strategic relationships in the media & entertainment industries resulting in a wide network of entertainment industry professionals
• Able to work effectively and proactively with peers, subordinates, superiors and key external constituents across all business units
• Sophisticated and highly developed written and verbal communication skills; excellent presentation skills; customer-oriented and sales-driven vision
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to generate high-quality material in a fast paced, dynamic environment; manage multiple projects at once; and flexibly respond to rapidly changing priorities in order to meet the dynamics of a competitive marketplace.
• Able to work flexible hours including some nights and weekends based on business need
• Willing and able to travel as needed for business- approximately 25% travel required
• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
