Full Time Job
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with General Managers and SVP of Content Media Distribution International to create EMEA strategy and plan (including financial targets, other KPI's) for Content Media Distribution (CMD), across traditional TV, digital and mobile platforms, and PPV, in collaboration with other LOB (lines of businesses), namely Digital, Consumer Products and Live Events
• Lead media distribution deal negotiations within the EMEA regions
• Serve as key point of contact to manage EMEA media partners, working closely with Affiliate Relations, Marketing and regional offices to support all aspects of media partnerships
• Working with SVP of CMD and regional offices, establish market priorities, defining strategic and economic market opportunities, and prepare recommendations for go-to-market strategies
• Drive distribution growth in mature and emerging markets, with view to optimizing and balancing true content value, reach, revenue, and brand-impact
• Provide leadership for the CMD business in developing annual revenue budgets and executing tactical plans, and reporting progress regularly to senior management
• Partner with General Managers and LOB functions in region to ensure CMD can help support market objectives
• Work with Legal and Business Affairs and International CMD colleagues to provide framework for negotiations and closely monitor deals from initial agreement through contract execution
• Monitor the media marketplace to stay current with international market trends and pro-actively drive tactics to maximize brand value
• Integrate and synergize CMD business with overall WWE commercial goals
Qualifications
• BA Degree
• Passion for media/entertainment required
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and structurally, with a track record in international cross-platform content licensing or syndication. Experience in sport or lifestyle brands preferred
• Exceptional ability in defining true content value and competitive content valuations
• Prior experience working within a cross-function matrix environment
• Skilled at multi-tasking, prioritizing and thriving in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in content analysis, revenue forecasting and budgeting is strongly preferred
• Team player, with proven ability to lead and create consensus among multiple business units
• Strong experience interacting with and presenting to senior executives, as well as the ability to work with senior leaders – ability to quickly establish oneself as credible with Executive Management
• Able to adjust and adapt to varying changes in your markets/region
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
• Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays
• Bilingual skills preferred
