Full Time Job
Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Chief Revenue & Marketing Office (CRMO), this role will collaborate across all functions/levels and provide guidance and recommendations to the CRMO on all programming related items
• Lead and/or consult on complex programming projects and initiatives across multiple lines of business
• Coordinate and track deliverables across multiple functions/projects related to programming
• Work to provide strategic guidance, solve problems, mediate programming conflicts and proactively deal with issues before they require CRMO's attention
• Develop strategy for WWE Network's annual programming slate (2000 hours per year)
• Oversee the programming budget including original, library, and other WWE content, and manage the original and library budgets on a daily basis
• Lead development and production of all original programming (300 hours of original programming per year)
• Solicit and identify projects from external production companies, producers, and other talent that align well with WWE Network's programming goals
• Oversee and monitor deals with 3rd party production partners
• Collaborate with WWE's Originals team to develop and produce shows (e.g. Monday Night War, WWE 24)
• Work with WWE's Legacy department on the Network's VOD library
• Analyze programming grids/schedules and make recommendations on WWE Network's linear feed and On-Demand library
• Work cross-functionally with the Digital Content and TV teams to ensure WWE's content distribution plan is aligned/mapped out across the organization
• Stay current on product knowledge and storyline
• Provide input for Network Marketing strategies related to subscriber acquisition
Qualifications:
• 10-15 years in television/film/content management, and/or development
• Experience and working understanding of live, documentary, scripted and reality television
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strategic relationships in the media & entertainment industries resulting in a wide network of industry contacts
• Ability to present and lead discussions with C-Suite executives on a weekly basis a MUST
• Able to work cross-functionally with peers, subordinates, superiors, and key external constituents across all business units
• Sophisticated and highly developed written and verbal communication skills; excellent presentation skills;
• Consumer-oriented vision
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to generate high-quality material in a fast paced, dynamic environment; manage multiple projects at once; and flexibly respond to rapidly changing priorities in order to meet the dynamics of a competitive marketplace.
• Able to work flexible hours including some nights and weekends based on business need
• Willing and able to travel as needed for business- approximately 25% travel required
• Data-driven and resourcefulness are key skill sets
• Demonstrated understanding of the WWE brand
• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
