WWE has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join our Business and Legal Affairs team and work closely with our Senior Vice President & Assistant General Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
• Compose, draft, and edit (red-line) letters and agreements
• Provide administrative support including: maintenance of calendar, copying, filing, faxing, and phone coverage
• Provide support in maintaining the contract database
• Coordinates with various internal departments (Finance, TV, AR, Legal, Digital, etc.)
• Act as the point of contact for other departments for copies of agreements and information regarding the status of contracts
• Handle basic rights clearance and rights clearance questions
• Creates and generates reports
• Coordinates and attends internal and external meetings and conference calls
• Keep current with WWE TV programs, characters, storylines and products
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• 5 years of experience as a Paralegal/Legal Administrator in a corporate legal department or law firm
• Previous law firm and/or corporate entertainment experience
• Bachelor degree preferred
• Strong PC/Word Processing skills including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with database management
• Able to prioritize in a fast-paced working environment, frequently under urgent deadlines
• Excellent organizational, communications skills, both verbal and written (including spelling and grammar)
• Must be a self-motivated, proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and problem-solver
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written (including spelling and grammar)
• High level of professionalism/confidentiality and ability to deal courteously and professionally with internal &external clients of all levels
• Paralegal certificate a plus
• Ability to work overtime as required based on business need
