Full Time Job
The Manager, Marketing & Events will report directly to the VP/GM, UK & Ireland with a dotted line reporting relationship to the VP, International Marketing. This role will support all marketing initiatives for WWE Europe in conjunction with the International Marketing team in Stamford, CT.
Responsibilities:
• The primary responsibility of this position is to manage and execute TV partner marketing initiatives
• Create launch and presentation materials, and update marketing resources to enhance consumer awareness on region initiatives
• Serve as the point of contact to for internal and external partners to develop trade advertising campaigns, media plan/placement, and an internal cross-marketing strategy
• Events coordination and management including:
• Organize and manage talent promotional tours to key markets, supporting all LOB
• Organize business events, such as hospitality, for partners
• Define and coordinate WWE presence at relevant business to business events
• Define and coordinate sponsorship and / or revenue generating activations
• Manage Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in key markets to include local initiatives and global WWE initiatives
• Coordinate social media activity with local agencies and the WWE Social Media Team, supporting all lines of business
• Manage and report on marketing and PR budget on a monthly basis
• Keep abreast of current WWE programs, characters, storylines and products
• Keep abreast of marketing and event best practices across the region
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related area
• Min of 5 years of experience as a marketing professional preferably within the entertainment industry
• Min of 5 years industry or related business experience, preferably in Cable, broadband or applicable industry
• Experience in project management with an ability to operate with a high level of autonomy
• Proactive personality skilled at juggling various responsibilities, prioritizing and thriving in a dynamic environment with limited resources, and effectively adapting to change
• Ability to communicate across all levels of management within and outside the company
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and facilitate solutions cross-functionally
• Demonstrated ability to partner and work constructively with peers, supervisors, and external partners
• Experience using computer software to aid in the development of creative marketing material with a proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work flexible work hours to include nights and/or weekends based on business need
• Travel as required (5-10%) based on business need
