Overview:
This role is responsible for directly managing all aspects of marketing, sales, and public relations for approximately 30 events annually. The candidate will provide strategic management and continuity between events and markets in the region both in scheduling and marketing.
Responsibilities:
• Provide scaling and pricing for events
• Develop a media/advertising campaign and strategy based upon assigned budgets
• Working with internal departments, i.e. PR and Marketing, concerning different avenues of promoting the event
• Work to build relationships in the market with the key decision makers and partners in the political and business communities
• Develop strong relationships with these local partners in all aspects and create ties with local sponsors and retailers
• Generate a true understanding of each market and their spending habits, daily trends and demographic break down
• Work with live event creative services and TV and radio spot producers to develop a custom creative strategy in each market and keep event creative fresh in its look and feel
• Work with detailed sales reports and reporting methods
• Work with local media partners and venues to create and implement marketing strategies, sales and creative promotions
• Create and analyze various reports on event sales and trends
• Required to be on site for all events in region and responsible for day of event accountabilities
• Ultimate goal is to make the best experience for our fans; before, during and after an event
Qualifications:
• BA degree
• 5-10 years in Entertainment Event marketing
• Experience with a major touring entity a plus
• Able to adjust and adapt to varying changes in your markets/region
• Need to have ( or be able to obtain) a valid passport
• Ability to relocate to Los Angeles
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
