Jr. Social Media Editor (Temp)
The Jr. Social Media Editor will be responsible for creating social media content around WWE's TV broadcasts and Live Events for WWE's rapidly growing social media channels on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Google and Pinterest. The successful candidate will coordinate social media campaign planning, content creation and execution for WWE's internal and external constituents, as well as monitor community activity and assist with social media insights and sentiment analysis for internal WWE departments' review when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Directly manage company's day-to-day social media content and activities for both in-house and with 3rd party vendor/s. This includes planning and executing editorial calendars, and directly engaging the WWE Universe and partners via social media platforms, fostering conversations and relationships.
• Insure integration of a social media content plan.
• Maintain WWE company presence on existing social media networks, including graphics and content updates as needed.
• Performs on-site content moderation duties for fan-submitted content, ensuring that the content is meeting WWE standards as shown in arena or on air.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in social media editing and/or channel management.
• Must be able to work non-traditional schedule, including nights and weekends during WWE live TV programming.
• Must be organized and detail oriented; strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Ability to maintain productive relationships with clients, co-workers and vendor partners.
• Well-organized and excellent time management abilities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Passion for emerging media trends and technology.
• Passion for pop culture.
• Working knowledge of WWE TV shows, talent, and storylines a plus.
• Experience with social media content management systems such as Hootsuite a plus.
• Occasional travel to WWE events required.
