World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. - West Coast Division (Intern)
The West Coast Division of World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. is seeking an Intern within its Entertainment Relations department.
Our West Los Angeles based office is dedicated to placing WWE talent in all forms of media from television appearances to red carpet events. Another focus in our department is booking celebrities for cross-promotional opportunities on WWE TV and special events.
We are looking for a smart, fun, creative, out-of-the-box thinking individual.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Entertainment Relations Coordinator with day-to-day duties
Maintain up to date contact information for top celebrity agents and publicists
Utilize internet resources to find information as requested by department heads
Keep up to date records of entertainment news, events & release schedules
Assist in projects as needed
Perform various other duties such as: making copies, faxing, shipping packages, assembling press kits, deliveries, running errands and handling phone calls
Complete other related tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
Ability to handle multi-faceted projects and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Understand the importance of confidentiality
Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other computer applications/programs
Strong Internet research skills
Creative self-starter
Knowledge of WWE programming, talent & story lines is a definite plus, but not required
Must commit to work 10-12 weeks and able to receive school credit
