This is a Full Time Job
Responsibilities:
* Report to and work closely with the Director, Integrated Sales
* Focus on growing WWE’s domestic client base by prospecting, cold calling and building relationships with key decision makers at targeted brands in key categories
* Maximize revenue and sales opportunities through the creation of marketing partnerships that leverage WWE’s vast array of marketing, media, content and intellectual property assets, and sell them in from inception to close, both internally and externally
* Nurture and grow both existing and new business relationship with corporate partners to ensure maximum renewal rate
* Work collaboratively with Sales & Partnership Marketing and other internal departments to achieve sponsorship revenue goals.
* Effectively utilize internet and sales databases for prospecting new opportunities
Requirements:
* Minimum five (5) years in a combination of sponsorship sales and brand marketing in professional sports, entertainment, traditional and/or digital media
* Proven track record as a sponsorship and media sales executive, with documentable success at creating breakthrough marketing programs
* Demonstrated success in prospecting, negotiating and closing deals at client and agency level
* Must possess strong industry relationships, a solid contact list, including proficiency at establishing new, trusted relationships with senior level brand marketers and agencies
* Highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment, while still contributing individually
* Must be willing to do what it takes to get the job done; 25% travel if necessary
* Outgoing, energetic self-starter with a passion for working with clients and identifying new partnership opportunities
* Must have strong communication skills (oral and written), and be able to sell ’'big ideas’' and 360 integrated solutions (as opposed to assets)
* Bachelor’s Degree
