World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analysis and Planning superstar! The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst reports to the Sr. Director of Financial Planning & Analysis of an entrepreneurial and vibrant entertainment company. Working with the broader team, the candidate will provide critical financial analysis and strategic planning support to the SVP of Financial Planning & Analysis and Investor Relations, the Chief Financial Officer, the broader management team and the Board. This individual is responsible for building and maintaining excellent relationships with various operating units and support departments while becoming a trusted financial advisor. This individual will also play a critical role in supporting and influencing senior management decision making.

Responsibilities:


Rigorous financial analysis of the Company’s performance:

Conduct meaningful analysis of all businesses on a monthly, quarterly and year’ end basis
Prepare and analyze financial statistics and operating benchmarks for various business units
Perform variance analyses, identify key operating trends, conduct benchmarking studies and understand industry dynamics to find business reasons that explain performance

Consolidate data and prepare perceptive presentation materials for management
Provide recommendations for process and performance enhancement prudently
Provide detailed and thoughtful quarterly forecasts
Prepare comprehensive and robust annual operating budgets
Assist in preparation of long’ term plans and in the evaluation of new business initiatives
Develop knowledge of competitors and industry through various research reports, economic publications and industry studies

Ensure that financial information and statistical data is prepared and presented in a manner that is most useful to managementAssist in preparing support materials for Board meetings and the broader IR/Finance team
Participate in value added corporate finance projects to support and influence the decision making of the Company’s management team
Provide helpful insight in the preparation of WWE investor communications

Qualifications:


3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a public company – entertainment/media industry background preferred
Bachelors degree, preferably in finance or business, is required; an MBA in Finance or related field is preferred

Experience with financial analysis, including Budget/LTP preparation and ongoing monitoring of performance; strong understanding of general accounting procedures; IB or Consulting experience desirable



Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities; possess high level of integrity

Strong verbal, written and presentation skills

Solid work ethic and team player with demonstrated leadership abilities

Able to multi’ task in a fast’ paced environment and meet deadlines as needed

High level of organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficient with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) – TM1 knowledge a big plus
