WWE Studios Intern Learning Expectations
• Enhance understanding of the film industry, specifically the development and post production fields.
• Achieve understanding of script management database.
• Gain knowledge of the movie making process from an incoming script and script coverage, to production and post-production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Script Coverage
• Learn script tracking system/database, update as necessary
• Support Development & Post-Production Team
• Support President's Office
• Update and print documents, spreadsheets, etc.
• Update, print and prepare documents as needed, including spreadsheets.
• Update information in development/film and script tracking system.
• Asset management (logging and tracking elements)
• Transcoding video files (with Compressor, MPEG Streamclip, etc.)
• Assist in managing online media storage and streaming.
• Data management (local drives, servers and cloud-based systems)
Qualifications
• Intern should be a college sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student during the 2015 Summer Semester
• Student must be able to provide proof of school credit eligibility (unofficial transcript, course catalog page, note from faculty advisor or career center staff)
• Candidate must be able to work in Los Angeles, CA
• Student should be organized, hardworking, and highly interested in post production and the overall studio business
• Script coverage experience is a plus
• Detail-oriented
• Hard-worker
• Enthusiastic
• Passion for movie industry
• Manage office organization and supplies
• Knowledge of non-linear editing systems (Avid, Final Cut, Premiere) specifically Avid, a plus
• Familiarity with aspect ratios, frame rates and resolutions a plus
• Knowledge of transcoding process and programs (MPEG Streamclip, Compressor, Media Encoder) a plus
