Job Title: Live Events, For-Credit Intern: Fall 2015

Learning Objectives
• The intern will establish an understanding of the ''behind the scenes'' of how live events works.
• The intern will learn how different departments such as TV, creative services, talent are incorporated into live events.
• The intern will learn the many different aspects that go into promoting a live event from A to Z, i.e., creation of advertising materials like TV spots & ads, how to track ticket sales, etc.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with updating event information as it changes. This includes updating events cards and checking all venues and media partners' digital assets to make sure they reflect these changes.
• Monitor multiple social media sites and various venue and ticketing websites and create weekly reports for each event.
• Assist WWE marketing representatives in all aspects of promoting a Live Event ( IE scaling of venues, social media, marketing plans, ticket request, ticket report etc)
• Assist with creating and gathering social media content for each event to pass along to our media and venue partners and scheduling posts on the WWE Social Media Calendar.
• Assist with updating information in our information management system (LES) to make sure the most accurate and up-to-date information is included. Including venue contacts and updated advertised matches
Qualifications:
• Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills
• High energy level, confident, and optimistic demeanor with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
• Strong ability to multitask
• Excellent knowledge of digital and social media, including Facebook, Twitter, etc.
• Good problem solving and creative thinking skills and ability to handle numerous details
• Keep up with the WWE storylines by watching both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown
• Some knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator is not a requirement, but preferred
