Full Time Job
The Engineering Support Technician will have involvement in all aspects of supporting production including set up, operation, and maintenance of a wide variety of broadcast and post production equipment.
We are seeking highly motivated, adaptable, team players that thrive under pressure and business changes and are prepared to do what it takes to get the job done.
This position requires being available to work off hours including overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Be a key member of the engineering team supporting the day to day production of WWE content
• Support and maintain post production facility including corrective and scheduled preventative maintenance for all broadcast equipment
• Provide first level support for Post Production and Broadcast systems including Avid and Grass Valley editing environments, graphics department, archive systems, video router, switchers,
• Hands on implementation of new projects including equipment rack and stack and cabling
• Maintain and repair of all Post Production Engineering Equipment
• Document workflows and technical procedures
• Maintain technical records of systems, software and infrastructure
Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience in a Post Production or Broadcast facility
• Knowledge of Avid Media Composer, Maya, Cinema 4D, Qube, and Adobe After Effects
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and TV engineering drawing standards a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Mac OSX, Linux
• Ability to distill complex technical solutions for non-technical end users
• Understanding of transcode technology and digital workflows
• Enthusiastic about troubleshooting, learning new technologies, and figuring out how things work
• Excellent technical problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to work independently, yet strong collaboration skills are required
• Must be able to prioritize and be a pro-active thinker
• Willing to work flexible hours (we support a 365, 24/7 business)
