WWE has rapidly expanded its mobile and Web product offerings. The WWE Network's streaming ''over the top'' video offering is a leader in the entertainment industry. These offerings and WWE's content have created significant competitive advantage in the market, and the company now wants to solidify their position by continuing to innovate and drive technology deeper into their customer base and business operations.
The Executive Vice President, Product and Technology is a new role and will report to George Barrios, Chief Financial and Strategy Officer, and take direction from Vince McMahon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. This leader will be the top IT executive at WWE and will be responsible for helping to drive the future product direction of the company. He/she will lead and direct the information technology organization, which has both external and internal or corporate technology. The role includes engineering and development, operations and technical support, and product management to deliver bestin-class solutions.
This is a role that encompasses tactical day-to-day business support, as well as strategic planning for future business, product and service initiatives. Equally important is creating an organizational culture that will attract and retain great talent and teams capable of transforming technology into competitive advantage. The position is based in WWE's Stamford, Connecticut, headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:
• Executive management and leadership of the information technology organization to support overall business plans and financial goals.
• Assist in building a culture and team that is world class and able to respond quickly to new competitors and technology. Providing leadership and a point of view on the business will be essential.
• Oversee a group of 50 professionals responsible for software engineering, quality assurance, project management and technical operations
• Work with product executives to ensure harmony in the consumer user experience including interaction between on-line live customer interactions
• Day-to-day management of technical operations to support the company's existing revenues
• Develop software engineering/applications to support new products and services
• Research, evaluate and manage third-party software, hardware products and services, for traditional as well as innovative services, such as over-the-top streaming, including build versus buy decisions.
• Proactively engage sales, marketing and product management executives to align technologies with the business needs and goals, including collaborative systems development and project management methodologies.
• Develop a strategic vision and technical roadmap, using technology as a competitive advantage in the areas of advertising technology, SEO, social media and networking, mobile technology and database management.
• Provide ongoing support and enhancement of corporate applications, i.e., finance and accounting, human resources, legal and administration, etc.
• Provide internal company technical support, including help desk services, desktop installations, upgrades, office moves, etc.
• Attract, hire, develop and retain top talent while maximizing creativity and productivity.
• Perform short- and long-term budget planning and resource scheduling.
Qualifications:
• A track-record of 15-plus years of increasingly responsible professional experience in product management, product development, information technology and/or innovation roles within the Internet, technology and/or media sectors. Ideally, this experience will have been gained at a company with a global reputation of designing and launching world-class consumer-oriented digital products.
• A clear thought leader in the technology and mobile arena will be required. WWE is a well-known brand with high exposure in the market and the new EVP Product and Technology will be expected to continue that tradition. The new EVP will have delivered innovative, world class solutions at scale, while working closely with all aspects of a business.
• Strong record of accomplishment in software development, infrastructure and operations. Experience with video streaming and over-the-top video is a plus.
• Leadership experience in both smaller, entrepreneurial environments through larger IT staff organizations.
• Significant B2C/consumer Internet industry experience consisting of high-volume traffic sites and social media engagement models.
• Experience with back office systems, including JD Edwards ERP, as well as SaaS based ERP systems.
• Deep knowledge and experience with technologies and applications in advertising, SEO, social media and mobile technologies. Experience with website design and mobile application strategy and rationalization is a plus.
• Strong business process and planning skills.
• Experience with Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements, privacy policies and Sarbanes-Oxley provisions.
• Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science or equivalent. An M.B.A. would enhance the candidate's qualifications
