Full Time Job
WWE is seeking an analytically driven Planning professional to help provide item/category level financial guidance and strategize with our e-commerce and product development teams to maximize revenue and profit across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop top down and bottom up season plans at the category/item level
• Analyze recap item/ category level business results in order to plan/ forecast future results
• Guide and partner with Merchandising to create seasonal plans that support company financial goals and merchant trends
• Assess item/category level sales and margin risks and opportunities and recommend action plans
• Open to Buy management, including monthly overview to update in-season forecasts and strategies to maximize profitability
• Communicate daily, weekly, and monthly level sales, margin, and inventory forecasts at the item/ category level
• Co-manage with cross functional partners the execution of pricing and promotional activity
• Provide visibility and guidance to major business impacting events (e.g. holiday shifts and promotion events) to support merchandising activities
• Develop quarterly business review documents and participate in quarterly meetings that align business strategies and objectives with merchandise financial plans
• Evaluate and provide feedback on competition
Requirements
• Strong retail background and acumen with a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail planning for sales, margin, inventory, and receipt flow
• Proficient MS Office skills including advanced Excel
• Excellent analytical skills including forecasting and profitability analysis, i.e. exit strategies, margin analysis, mark-down projections, pricing and inventory management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Results oriented go-getter
• Ability to work flexible hours as required based on business need
• Bachelor's degree required
