We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Director of Financial Planning & Analysis – WWE Network Operations. The successful candidate will use internal and external business trends and analysis to help influence key business decisions related to WWE Network operations. The candidate will be responsible for the overall financial management of WWE Network operations including subscriber modeling, subscriber acquisition costs, programming costs, and other key financial drivers. The candidate should have prior experience with subscription based business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead preparation of short/long-term budgets and monthly reforecast for WWE Network operations. Preparation includes interaction with Data Analytics colleagues and applying knowledge of subscriber behavioral trends to budget/planning model(s)
• Synthesize Network revenue and expense drivers and prepare reports that highlight key issues and opportunities to improve efficiencies
• Provide key analytics and research support; be a thought leader in the company's continuing development of its Network business including pricing tiers and packaging, programming strategy, subscriber acquisition costs, customer service, streaming, content delivery, and product development
• Evaluate opportunities to improve business unit performance, including the preparation of financial models (feasibility studies, DCF/ROI analysis, etc.) to evaluate new business opportunities
• Monitor ongoing business performance and prepare presentations that communicate both business results and operating issues and opportunities to senior management
• Conduct ongoing review of financial and operating results with management to insure the Company and business units meet and/or exceed financial targets
• Evaluate and drive changes to existing subscriber data reporting processes
• Manage complex projects with minimal direction
• Review and assist with preparation of Company presentations for Board of Directors meetings, equity analysts, and investors
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of FP&A experience – preferably in subscriber based business operation; background in consulting business a strong plus
• Working knowledge of media industry and financial software (experience with TM1 and/or comparable OLAP software and planning tools a strong plus)
• Able to effectively manage financial processes and implement control procedures
• Able to proactively gather and synthesize data from internal and/or external sources and guide the analysis of complex issues
• Skilled in preparing effective presentations with clear narrative and impactful graphics
• History of working with and effectively influencing senior management
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills, but also able to work independently with a minimum of supervision
• Bachelor degree; MBA/MS preferred
