CPG Intern Learning Expectations
• Gain understand the different roles of the cross-functional team and how they relate to the Merchandising role
• Foster a greater understanding of CPG field and processes
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure all information and samples are set up and organized for easy access by all team members in the Merchandising Group
• Maintain order tracking and follow up, PO sample tracking and daily reporting
• Possess knowledge of overall department to be able to provide team members with all requested information
• Run selling reports and analyze to identify best and slow sellers; Review with team to determine how information should be interpreted and reacted to
• Work to increase knowledge by combining reports
• Develop relationships with cross-functional team members (Design, Production, Planning & Allocation)
• Maintain daily communication with outside vendors to develop new products
• Work with Planning and Allocation to oversee the PO process
• Work with Merchandising Team/ Venue team to do invoicing and expense sheets
• Work on History Books for WrestleMania 30
• Do all prep work for WrestleMania 31
• Help Organize all Products in Sample Room
• Take detailed notes during line reviews with Design; Follow thru on any outstanding issue
Qualifications
• Intern should be a college sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student during the 2016 Spring Semester
• Student must be able to provide proof of school credit eligibility (unofficial transcript, course catalog page, note from faculty advisor or career center staff) Please attach to application before completing
• Major in marketing is a plus
• Current 3.2 GPA
• Candidate must be able to work in Stamford, CT
• Excellent communication, organization,
• Ability to multitask and adjust to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Commitment to learning and continuous development
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
