Sr. Analyst / Manager
Reporting to the SVP of Motion Picture Deal Analysis & Research, this role offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the economics of the motion picture business in an agency environment. The Sr. Analyst / Manager will be tasked with:
- Financial modeling of talent deals for major WME clients in support of ongoing negotiations
- Support the independent film finance group in modeling out of film sales and financing structures
- Box office analysis and research including box office tracking
Role will have direct exposure to agents, business affairs, studio counterparts and other key stakeholders in the film business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 2 - 4 years work experience
- Excellent quantitative skills and fluency in Excel
- Ability to perform duties quickly and accurately
- Studio experience strongly preferred; entertainment experience a must. Studio participations, distribution or finance experience a big a plus.
- Interest / Passion for the movie business, professionalism and strong communication skills appropriate for a client-facing business trump technical skill requirements
