Overview:
The Manager of Transmission & Delivery Operations will be responsible for working closely with the Affiliate Operations Team and Media Managers to manage oversight of the top affiliate SLA content delivery commitments and ensure compliance. Manager of Transmission & Delivery Operations will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of Content Delivery Operations and Queue management to ensure the on-time ordering and delivery of materials.
Responsibilities:
• Manage oversight of Top affiliate SLA delivery commitments to ensure compliance.
• Oversee daily operations of Transmission and Delivery. Maintains Cross-operational ''state of health'' delivery reporting and management for all areas of Delivery Operations.
• Works closely with Media Managers to assist in investigation of pending late/late delivery issues for their respective accounts.
• Works closely with Affiliate Relations Managers in monitoring, escalating and incorporating into a master priorities list any affiliate-specific priorities
• Follows up with Encoding, Media Services and Metadata Services as necessary on the resolution of asset receipt and processing/re-pitch issues. Provides monthly root-cause analysis on any late deliveries.
• Review weekly reporting metrics with Director, Media Transmission & Delivery Operations in relation to timely delivery of materials and troubleshoot any issues or concerns that affect deliverables to our affiliates. Provides monthly root-cause analysis on any late deliveries. Tracks, journals and provides reporting on external studio delivery performance metrics to allow for discussion with studios for better on-time delivery
• Develop escalation protocols and strategy with Director, Media Transmission & Delivery Operations to address affiliate inquiries and concerns and work with internal departments to determine solutions.
• Work with Application Support to develop, maintain and build out dashboards in JIRA, ADONISS and MIO to provide timely issue identification and notification of SLA breaches.
• Provide support to Director, Media Operations for additional special projects as needed, following leadership/direction and providing implementation/execution.
• Build and nurture relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Programming, Finance, Sales, and Operations.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (3-5 years).
• Strong management, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal.
• Strong background in negotiations and dispute resolution.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Must have Microsoft Office knowledge, especially strong Excel skills.
