Overview:
The Manager of Media Operations will be responsible for working with the Director of Media Operations to manage set departmental goals and objectives for the Media Operations Department. The Manager of Media Operations will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Media Operations traffic and servicing department to ensure the on-time ordering and delivery of materials. This position is intricately involved with new service and affiliate launches in addition to maintaining accurate review, approval and payment of invoices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with the studios and post houses to ensure partners are aware of Vubiquity's operational requirements and workflows.
- Create, manage and negotiate domestic rate card of media deliverables and services from approved post - production facilities.
- Oversee daily operations of Media Operations traffic and servicing department to ensure the team stays on track to meet set departmental goals and objectives, weekly review of progress made, issues encountered and problem resolution.
- Work with Director of Media Operations to analyze current workflows within Media Operations traffic and servicing department to streamline workflows / gain efficiencies.
- Review weekly reporting metrics with Director of Media Operations in relation to timely order and delivery of materials and troubleshoot any issues or concerns that affect deliverables to our affiliates.
- Develop escalation protocols and strategy with Director of Media Operations to address affiliate inquiries and concerns and work with internal departments to determine solutions.
- Invoice analysis, dispute management and reconciliation.
- Work with Application Support to develop, maintain and build out dashboards in JIRA database to provide timely metrics and reporting for key strategic affiliates and internal Account representatives / stakeholders.
- Work with internal teams, when launching of new services or on-boarding of new affiliates to identify and develop new workflows / processes needed to support these initiatives and work towards timely implementation while minimizing risk to current workflows.
- Provide support to Director, Media Operations for additional special projects as needed, following leadership/direction and providing implementation/execution.
- Build and nurture relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Programming, Finance, Sales, and Operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (3-5 years).
- Strong project management, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal.
- Strong background in negotiations and dispute resolution.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Must have Microsoft Office knowledge, especially strong Excel skills.
