Overview:
This individual will act as the primary external facing liaison to content partners performing Digital Supply Chain functions. This Specialist role will proactively support the content partner and multiple teams within Vubiquity to ensure VU has close alignment on goals and deliverables. This individual will support sales and operations ultimately owning the operational relationship for strategic content providers.
The ideal Content Services Specialist candidate is a self-motivated worker who thrives in an environment that relies on self-discipline and the ability to set and meet daily and long-term deadlines. The candidate is extremely detail-oriented and a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately this position will require a very high level of follow thru and multi-tasking within shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
Responsbilities:
Metrics & Analytics:
•Develop and analyze internal Vubiquity and Content Partner performance based metrics to establish, monitor and refine KPI's, OLA's and SLA.
•Identify and analyze key vendor metrics to spot trends, diagnose issues and reinforce quality standards
•Work with content partners and articulate and correct service failures or deficiencies .
Customer Development:
•Perform consistent outreach to content partners regarding Vubiquity initiatives and changing service needs.
•Advocate, understand and communicate the company's values and strategic initiatives
•Influence product designs based on customer's needs and overall user experience
Project Management:
•Partner with internal cross-functional teams like sales, operations and engineering to ensure strategic alignment across the digital supply chain.
•Engages with customers to analyze and determine project scope
•Creates appropriate documentation and uses various tools to manage the process
•Maintains the project time line and internally communicates with multiple stakeholders to ensure well-informed engagement process
•Ensures a positive, collaborative work environment for the team; mentors and coaches project team members to optimize productivity
Content Operations:
•Synthesize and streamline business and technology solutions that strengthen our partnerships while advancing our service
•Understand the content provider's expectations for service provider availability
•Review, prioritize, and track digital assets
•Independently execute and use discretion to escalate issues in a timely and appropriate manner
•Understand, advocate, and embody the company's values and team goals
•Consistently strive to review the current operational workflow and identify efficiencies
Qualifications
•Very strong ability to problem solve, multitask, and prioritize in a fast paced, high volume environment
•Minimum 5 years of experience dealing with digital assets and partner relationships preferably in a studio/cable network or technology related environment
•Must be able to maintain accuracy and attention to detail with high volume tasks
•Strong business analytics background.
•History of strengthening vendor/customer relationships
•Understanding of C3/D4 cable network scheduling for VOD
•Experience in the procurement of digital content and specifications.
•Experience using metrics to inform relationships with vendors.
•Excellent organization, strong project management skills and superior written and oral communication.
•Enhanced ability to acquire new technology concepts.
•Navigate complex business relationships and collaborate with senior executives
•Working knowledge of common technical issues found in digital video and audio and a full understanding of meta-data, closed captions, video encodes, subtitles and their common failures or technical challenges
